- How does H2Ocean Piercing Aftercare Spray work?
Piercing Aftercare Spray the same as a sali Spray directly on pierced area and allow solution to dry and absorb into the skin. The enzymes in H2Ocean’s formula will start attacking the cell walls of bad bacteria and continue fighting off bacteria for up to 4 to 5 hours. Remember our formula does not harm any good bacteria essential to healing the body. The natural sea salt, which contains essential minerals, then goes to work feeding your body what it needs to nourish cells and increase cell regeneration. H2Ocean is the only aftercare formula that contains an antibacterial enzyme and healing agent and is in a sterile easy to use package.
- Is H2Ocean the same as Saline Solution?
No, saline solutions contain Sodium Chloride (.09%) and purified water. Sodium Chloride is refined salt (man made) which contains hydrogen, chlorine and sodium hydroxide. Man made salt is stripped off all trace elements and minerals that are essential for new cell development. Saline solution also does not contain an enzyme like H2Ocean. Saline solutions on the market also have a wide range of pH levels which may hinder healing. H2Ocean’s pH level is between 7.2 and 7.5. - Is H2Ocean Piercing Aftercare Spray safe for all piercings?
Yes, and is also very effective on infected piercings and keloids. H2Ocean is extremely safe for micro dermal’s, navel, nipples, cartilage, facial and genital piercings.
- How often should I use H2Ocean Piercing Aftercare Spray?
We recommend spraying a mist of the solution on the piercing every 3 to 4 hours, as the enzymes (Lysozyme) will remain active against bad bacteria for 4 to 5 hours. This may help keep infections from occurring. The salinity level of this product is isotonic to the cellular fluid matrix in humans therefore no burning will occur on the piercing. You cannot overuse H2Ocean.
- Is soaking the piercing necessary with H2Ocean Piercing Aftercare Spray?
No, but if you would like to soak your piercing then use H2Ocean and saturate sterile gauze with H2Ocean Piercing Aftercare Spray and place over piercing for 5 to 10 minutes. Repeat twice a day in conjunction with following the normal directions for use of H2Ocean Piercing Aftercare Spray.
- What if my piercing is infected or starting to keloid can H2Ocean Piercing Aftercare Spray help?
Yes, you should use H2Ocean from the start to avoid these problems but it may turn it around if used continually as directed. Keloids may be removed by soaking the H2Ocean on a clean paper towel or gauze pad placed on the piercing for a few minutes 2 times a day and continue spraying 3 to 5 times daily.
- Is H2Ocean Piercing Aftercare Spray safe to use on oral piercings?
Yes, but we recommend using either flavor (wintergreen or lemon) of our mouthwash. The H2Ocean mouthwash is Alcohol and Fluoride Free. Xylitol is also added to the mouthwash to keep strep and plaque from bonding to your teeth and gums
